Outsourcing the Right Way

Businesses today has become a fan of outsourcing, outsourcing helps you achieve business goals with minimal money spent. Outsourcing can really make the difference for your business. Knowing how this process work will definitely be of great use. I’ll be sharing some thought on how outsourcing is done correctly.

1. Make an outline of your project: Having a good and organized plan of your project will aid your partner to understand easier on how and what is your product or services, it is best to give your partner the what’s and how of your products or services.

2. Thoroughly Evaluate your service provider: Don’t hold yourself back when asking questions, selecting the right provider is the key in outsourcing. You can get some feedbacks from their former business partner, which you can use as a reference for you to evaluate their service.

3. Start small: Its better to start this way, later you will know if your provider is the right one for you, its better to know their strengths and weaknesses before you entrust a more serious project.

4. Clearly explain the role of the provider: Often there is confusion on who will get the credit. For any type of outsourced project, make sure that you are clear about who owns the resulting work product and any important components of that product. Make sure the service provider understands how you intend to use the deliverables that they are agreeing to provide

5. Do it in a formal way: During the course of the projects change is inevitable, thus changes on your project agreements may change. When you do transactions is better if you have it in a written form, so that you’ll have a clear view on what you and your provider have agreed on. Constantly communicate with your provider to know if there is a need of any changes or modification.
